The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. The institution is made up of 21 colleges spread across three main locations in Hilla. The central university campus is in the medical colleges complex in the center of Hilla -Al-Iskan.

Within the framework of joint scientific cooperation between the College of Law / University of Babylon and the Legal Research Center at the Ministry of Justice in the city of Iraqi Kurdistan, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Legal in the Ministry of Justice, and the latter donated a number of legal publications to the college library, and the two parties agreed to continue that cooperation by contributing to holding joint legal seminars and conferences, which contributes to the promotion of legal culture
